Call for Video Submissions from Churches and Independent Artists
Showcase Your Music Talent on TV!
If you’re a gifted singer, a local independent artist who’s got what it takes, or belong to a talented group, we want to hear from you! Gospel Music Channel is currently seeking video recordings from undiscovered and unsigned talent from churches and communities across all genres of Gospel and Christian music.
Video submissions of the following performances will be reviewed:
- Soloists
- Choirs
- Praise & Worship teams
- Quartets, bands, and other musical performances
This is not a contest. Gospel Music Channel wants to showcase the country’s untapped Gospel and Christian talent on TV, on the web and on-demand. Gospel Music Channel will review all video submissions for consideration of being showcased in one of the following ways:
- On TV: In the past, Gospel Music Channel’s original series, The Kitchen Sink, featured artist performance segments from local churches and communities around the country during the show's Hometown Musicmakers segment. The Kitchen Sink is currently on hiatus and 2009 programming is in the early development stages. Please check back for more information as it becomes available.
- Online: Accepted videos may be available for viewing and downloading at Gospel Music Channel’s web site (www.gospelmusicchannel.com).
- On-Demand: Accepted videos may be made available as part of GMC’s Video-On-Demand (VOD) package featured on certain cable systems.
Video Submission Requirements
Format: DVDs will be accepted for initial reviews. If your video is selected, we will ask you to provide a Beta SP, DigiBeta or miniDV format for on-air.
Production: We recommend that your video production include more than one camera so that viewers see multiple angles of your performance. Make sure the video is not too dark and the audio quality is good.
PLEASE SEND ALL VIDEO SUBMISSIONS WITH THE SUBMISSION FORM TO:
