Fred Hammond has one of the most recognized voices in Gospel music today. Three years after the release of his GRAMMY Award-winning project Free to Worship, Hammond returns to the music scene with his latest offering, Love Unstoppable

If the name of the game is consistency, then Love Unstoppable delivers, touting an abundance of choir-friendly flavor and catchy lyrics. Hammond actually appears to deviate a bit from the urban platform his music has been instrumental in pioneering. This may be disappointing to the more progressive fan who looks forward to Hammond's creative lyrical exploration and cutting-edge vocal production.

“They That Wait," the project's first single, is solid. It's a can't-miss, radio-friendly song, featuring fellow Gospel music veteran John P. Kee. As one of the strongest songs on the project, oddly, the listener has to sift through seven other tracks and interludes to get to it.

The heartfelt lyrical depth Hammond is known for peeks through on songs like “Lost in You Again," “Best Thing That Ever Happened," and the jazz-influenced track “Take My Hand." With Love Unstoppable, Hammond faithfully maintains his musical reputation, and that alone makes this project one to take home.
