The Performances: Live Kitchen Sink acoustic performances by Hawk Nelson, 21:03, Jars of Clay and Canton Jones

Hawk Nelson

From the modern phenomenon of social networking websites like MySpace and Facebook to the classic comfort found alongside special schoolmates and work buddies, we’re always looking for someone with whom we can laugh and cry. Since 2004, music lovers have enjoyed a real camaraderie with rising pop-rock band Hawk Nelson, helping the quartet sell nearly half a million albums, land personal appearances on major television and motion picture projects, and gain high-profile song placement (“Bring ‘Em Out”) with NBC’s NFL Sunday Night Football campaign.

21:03

21:03 is made up of three young men, each with his own unique background and story to tell, but all united around one common purpose: To carry a message of faith, hope, and optimism to an often troubled world. The threesome’s dazzling, frequently dizzying, vocal prowess makes them sound as if they could be brothers.

Jars of Clay

Best known for hits like “Flood,” “Liquid,” “I Need You,” and “Show You Love," Jars of Clay was making pop music history, first by skyrocketing to notoriety with its double-platinum debut, Jars of Clay, then building on its popular and critical acclaim with GRAMMY Award-winning projects Much Afraid and If I Left the Zoo. But simultaneously, the Dove Award-winning band’s collective faith also reached new heights, thanks to nurturing by a progressive Nashville church community keen to rediscovering church hymnody.

Canton Jones

Part singer, songwriter, producer and vocal arranger Canton Jones entertained over 300,000 people in 2007, sold nearly 50,000 units independently, and has several songs including "Love Song" and "Stay Saved" in regular rotation internationally. His unlimited repertoire, massive crowd appeal, and fast-growing fan base has set him on a course destined to challenge the genre of gospel music as we know it.
