When Phillip LaRue and his sister Natalie formed their duo LaRue, back in the late ‘90s, theirs was a fresh-faced, modern pop sound ripe with youthful exuberance that—even to their own chagrin—appealed to The Disney Channel audience. But lyrically and personally, there was always more depth than the surface suggested.
Ten years and a lifetime of experience later, Phillip LaRue reluctantly signs with BEC, a division of Tooth & Nail, to forge his own artistic path.
